In process development

After the first few group meetings and tutorials with Jini, we decided to designate roles to one and other. As Tanya came up with the idea of chakra- the flow of energy through meditation, it was decided that she’d be the director. Tom wanted to be the DOP and Joseph joined him as the camera assistant as we required an extra hand with the camera as we were shooting with both Bolex film camera and digital camera. Suzanne became the producer and sound recordist whereas Shail took the job of editing and drone flyer. I ended up being the production assistant and assistant director and helped Suzanne with sound on set. Everyone had done rigorous research about chakra, and it was concluded that the idea of chakra is ambiguous in nature and everyone has their own perception of it and it further had many layers of explanation. So we narrowed down the concept of chakra to its primary theme, and Tanya added the touch of elements of nature in the project. Combining the elements of nature to the initial concept, we decided to shoot in live locations.
